Real First Snow (aka Blizzard)

Last week I gushed on and on about my first snow in New York, while ice-skating at Bryant Park. It turns out that was more like my first baby snow. Today I experienced the real thing!

It started out like this:

Then became like this:

And before you knew it, it was like this:

In Central Park:

Then things became more windy, and fuzzy, and blurry, and I got so much snow in my eyes I couldn’t see where I was stepping! I managed to take this little video on my iPhone before escaping into the nearest diner:

Others weren’t so lucky – many people were left stranded and major airports have been affected.

Now I know what everyone was trying to warn me about!
