It’s sure to be one of the top highlights on the concert calendar in South Africa this year, and it’s just around the corner! U2 will be kicking off their 360° tour in Mzansi next weekend.
The tickets went fast, but for those fans who kept asking me how to score some, this just may be your solution. Plus you get the chance to show off just how much of a fan you really are. From now until February 11th, there is a travelling stage going all over Gauteng in different locations. If you catch it, you can sing your favourite U2 song and hopefully win some tickets. The stage is kinda like the travelling dessert truck I have been trying to catch up with here in New York so you have to find out where it will be on Twitter and Facebook.

The thing that amazed me about the tour is the size and scale of the production involved in it. In fact, that was one of the reasons why the tour took so long to be confirmed. Organizers had to make sure South Africa could pull it off – and they’re confident the country will do so superbly!
Those dates again:
February 13th, 2011 – Johannesburg (Gauteng) at the FNB Stadium and February 18th, 2011 – Cape Town (Western Cape) at the Cape Town Stadium.
