* A biopic of Elton John‘s life is on the way, and British actor Tom Hardy, most known for playing Bane in The Dark Knight Rises, will play Sir Elton. I am looking very forward to his transformation for the film, which is set to be called Rocketman.
* A new man is taking on the role of Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie. Irish actor Jamie Doonan seems to be a good fit, after Charlie Hunnam pulled out. He’ll soon become a lot more well known that he currently is, as an actor in the BBC drama The Fall.
* Not the best of honours, but the late Michael Jackson leads Forbes’ list of Dead Celebrities, having brought in $160 dollars, which is more than any living celebrity did. According to the magazine, it’s the third time in a row that a celebrity who’s since passed on has earned more money
* Oh how we love the spunky Janelle Monae, and so too, does Billboard. The magazine and chart-determiners will honour her as Rising Star at the 2013 Billboard Women in Music event in December, recognizing her early-career success.
