When Fedde Met Goldie…
We’ve been dancing our toes off to Goldfish’s floor-filling, hum-along-as-you-groove Soundtracks and Comebacks for ages now. And it seems the track has been piquing the interest of Fedde Le Grand party-goers too. The Dutch DJ says thousands of his fans have been begging to know more about the track that he featured in one of his Takeover Tour videos. The South African electro-jazz duo, which has been heating up Ibiza over the past few days, first attracted Fedde’s eye back in 2008.
Now the track gets the Fedde Le Grand treatment and has been moving up the Beatport charts as a result. Expect more hip-shaking across the globe as another result too.
In other Goldfish-related news, the duo teamed up with Freshlyground for their collaborative single, Let’s Do It Again. It’s the official South African Rugby Union song for IRB Rugby World Cup 2011, which kicks off in September. GF vs FG: war-cries have never sounded this good!
