Back for a third time, after his daring routine last year, Ricky Gervais opened the awards with a cheeky, “So. Where was I?”
Ah, yes.
“The Golden Globes are to the Oscars what Kim Kardashian is to Kate Middleton – a bit louder, a bit trashier…more easily bought.”
The welcome was relatively warm, until Ricky dropped an F-bomb, almost three-quarters of the way through the show, that had to bleeped out.
